Mr. Montgomery’sAgency AI Insights

A technologist’s honest take on what AI actually does inside a running agency — and what it doesn’t.

AI Tools We Actually Built

Every tool in this category is one we actually built and run β€” site generators, a free local image pipeline, field-quote tools β€” not a roundup of software we read about in someone else’s newsletter.

These are the working artifacts: a site generator deployed into three contractor verticals, a concept studio that ships a live client concept before the sales call, a free AI-image pipeline running on a gaming GPU, and an iPad quote tool that kills the field-estimate back-and-forth.

The point of building your own tools is leverage and ownership. A tool you built bends to your exact workflow, costs a fraction of the SaaS equivalent, and doubles as a client deliverable the moment it proves itself. Everything here started as a problem we had and became infrastructure we kept.

The Free AI-Image Formula for a Gaming GPU

I meant to cancel my ChatGPT subscription. I missed it by a day. That same week, Claude and I built a free image studio on the gaming PC already under my desk β€” here is the exact formula, and it runs on any graphics card like mine.

I Gave a Free Local AI My Whole Blog-Image Budget

Every post needs an image, and stock libraries look like stock. So Claude and I pointed a free image model running on my own GPU at the problem β€” and now every image on this blog costs nothing and takes about twenty seconds.
